In the wake of the devastating second COVID19 wave in India, I’m doing an online portrait photography workshop to raise funds for two organisations doing urgent and important relief work in Bangalore and Karnataka.
Hasiru Dala is providing food and medical support to 6,000 affected waste-picker families in 24 cities in Karnataka and 2 in Andhra Pradesh. They are now also supporting children whose parents/families have been affected by COVID19.
Mercy Mission is a coalition of various NGOs in Bangalore that is providing food, oxygen, logistical support through a helpline and ambulances to help ferry COVID19 patients to hospitals.
If you, like me, have been feeling helpless and want to help, please consider donating my workshop fee of INR 2,000 or $30 to either of the above organisations.
